About this part
Firing pins are the most common Beretta over/under failure point — the tip can chip, peen or break, giving light strikes, misfires or pierced primers. We machine top and bottom pins from hardened steel to original profile and protrusion, so ignition is back to 100%.
Fits the competition and sporting range: DT11, DT10, 690, 692 and 686/687 Silver Pigeon. We recommend refreshing the firing pin springs at the same time.

Questions
What are the signs of a worn firing pin?
Light strikes, occasional misfires that clear on a second attempt, dented or pierced primers, or a visibly chipped/peened tip. If your Beretta is missing fire intermittently, the pin (and its spring) is the first thing to check.
Should I replace the firing pin springs too?
Yes — springs are inexpensive and lose tension over time, which contributes to light strikes. We sell the spring pair separately; order both for a complete refresh.
Will these fit my 686 / 687 Silver Pigeon?
Yes. The same pins fit across the DT11, DT10, 690, 692 and 686/687 families. Send your model and we'll confirm before you order.
Can I fit a firing pin myself?
On most Beretta over/unders the pins are retained simply, but a gunsmith fitting is recommended to verify protrusion and safe ignition.
